Posada Real Ixtapa - Ixtapa (Guerrero)

We had an amazing family trip at this resort. The infinity pool was a real highlight, and watching the sunsets over Zihuatanejo Bay was lovely. The option to explore local restaurants while enjoying great on-site food was good.

My kids wished for more organized activities for them.

Well-maintained hotel with spectacular view of the ocean, affordable restaurant. Attentive staff all over the place. Good sleep in a comfortable bed, brand-new and fully-equipped room. Outstanding food served, more than adequate and delicious breakfast. Really good experience there.

What stands out, both good and bad

The friendly staff were eager to teach us some Spanish and the infinity pool provided a fine view.

The musty odor in the room was noticeable upon our arrival.

Small rooms

The staff provided really good service. I especially appreciated the beautiful homemade bread served during breakfast. The beach had fine views, although the waves were a bit high for my comfort. Unfortunately, the WiFi was limited to the lobby, inconvenient, and some areas could have used more maintenance. Despite these minor issues, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the vibrant atmosphere around the pools and gardens.

The clean pool and swim-up bar were fantastic for chilling after hitting the beautiful golf course. We explored the vibrant nightlife, checking out local cantinas. The staff was friendly, and the food was solid. Perfect for a fun, laid-back beach vibe!

One downside was the spotty WiFi, only available in the lobby. It would've been nice to have better connectivity throughout the hotel.

The beach location is fantastic, offering easy access to beautiful shores. The grilled sandwiches at the beachside restaurant were a highlight of our meals, delivering great flavor. The bedsheets were noticeably dingy, which detracted from the overall feel of cleanliness. WiFi access was limited to the lobby. While the service in the restaurant was commendable, the buffet food left something to be desired in terms of variety and quality.

It was just a proper fit for a quick stopover in Ixtapa with very good value for money. The staff surprised us with a complimentary drink on arrival, a nice touch after our long journey. Take some time to enjoy the lovely gardens. They make for a peaceful escape and a great photo spot.

The exercise room is underwhelming with non-working machines!!! Disappointment at the closed kids club despite advertised hours!!! Limited food options reminded me of a constant déjà vu for meals!!! Noise from the bar area can be bothersome!!!

A Hidden Gem for Authentic Relaxation!

Enjoyed good meals at the beachside restaurant with fresh seafood and attentive service. The cozy atmosphere made every dinner nice, especially the local flavors. Don't miss the massages on the beach. They were rejuvenating! A perfect place for a true Mexican resort experience.

It was just an excellent fit for a mini-break over the weekend in Ixtapa with good value considering the price it charged. The beach area was enjoyable, making it easy to spend the day soaking up the sun. Check out local restaurants nearby for a more authentic dining experience.

The infinity pool view was stunning, making our afternoons relaxing, and we loved the creative towel animals left by housekeepers that added a good touch to our daily return to the room.
